Arizona

Ready to Go!

At the airport.

We stayed with our good friends, The Genys's. Their 2 cute little boys wanted Jackson to have plenty of toys to play with.

At the mall.

Joe's BBQ. Best Barbeque place in Arizona! So yummy.

Where we used to live in Arizona.

New Shoes!

This was my first attempt with Jackson on a plane. I was so stressed about it! But things turned out great. My sweet sister Stacia flew with me so I that I wouldn't have to go alone. Couldn't have done it without her! She was so helpful. This trip was so much fun. I was able to see my two brothers that live there and just hang out with the family. It was such a relaxing and much needed trip.

5 Months

5 months is so fun. He is really starting to get into a routine. He is sleeping so much better at night too. I probably only get up once or twice..if that. He is going down better for naps also. Before I would always have to nurse him to sleep but now he can usually fall asleep on his own. We do a bath every night before bed time. I think this has helped a lot with his sleep. He doesn't take a bottle anymore..So that has been a little tricky with work but we have seemed to manage. Tom is so great and watches him every time I go to work. So grateful for a helping husband! Some new milestones...

-May 28th rolled over from back to tummy
-Is laughing a lot more
-Sucks on his feet all the time now..funny boy:)
-So interested in the world around him!
-He grabs at so many things now
-He REALLY knows when I leave the room now
-He has found his voice...COMPLETELY..he talks all of the time now. Quite loudly too might I add..:)
-Well we already know he loves the bath, but he splashes everywhere! All of the walls get splattered with water and I am soaked by the end of bath time.
-I took him for his first swim! He LOVES the water. I was nervous he wouldn't like the cold, but he didn't seem to care!
-He loves being outside. That is one thing that always seems to calm him down.
-He is so alert and so active.
-He has such a great grip...especially on my hair.

First Mother's Day!

It was such a beautiful day! I really feel so grateful to be a Mom. It is such a blessing to be able to raise this beautiful boy. We are so grateful for him and for the opportunity to be parents. I love being a Mom! Church was wonderful that day too. We got yummy cinnamon rolls in relief society and Tom took him so I could have a little break. We stopped by my parents and went to Brad and Jill's for dinner. Such a wonderful day.

4 Months

-Went on our first road trip with the little one! We went to Idaho for Tom's work. We got to see Trina and her sweet family. She watched Jackson while we went to the PBR. Jackson did so well on the road. He was a trooper! He slept pretty much the whole time we were in the car. I was grateful for that.

Okay I know...I posted way too many pictures, but I couldn't help it! He is so stinking cute. I just have to say that I LOVE 4 MONTHS! Things have gotten SO much easier. Nursing is a breeze compared to what it was at the beginning. He is so fast now and it doesn't hurt anymore..hallelujah! He has had many milestones this month...here we go..:)

-April 11th-Jacks rolled over from tummy to back
-April 28th-First Laugh!
-He is smiling and responding SO much more now. It makes it so fun! I love it.
-He grabs his feet all of the time now..It's the cutest thing! He has also begun to stick his feet in his mouth.
-He is starting to grab at toys more.
